What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help us remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and understand how visitors interact with our content.
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics automatically on our website to measure visits to public pages and interactions with links and buttons. Google Analytics can set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_0Z3D02HT94 to distinguish browsers and sessions. These are analytics cookies; they are not required to read the website.
Our analytics integration does not enable advertising personalisation. It sends controlled page and interaction fields and excludes arbitrary URL query values, email content and telephone numbers.
Cookie expiry and the length of time an analytics provider retains information are different. Browser settings can also shorten cookie lifetimes. See Google's information about cookies and our Privacy Policy for further information.
Preferences stored in your browser
- Previous analytics decline: if you declined analytics through the previous website preference control, its versioned localStorage record remains effective until its original expiry, for up to 180 days. When that record expires, it is removed and automatic analytics begins. We do not create or store a new analytics grant for visitors.
- Homepage support message: the website stores the assigned
home_support_v1message variant in localStorage for up to 30 days. This keeps the message consistent between visits and lets us compare support-audit interest. A valid previous analytics decline receives the default message without creating this record. - Theme: the light, dark or system-theme choice uses the separate localStorage key
theme. It is not a Google Analytics cookie and remains until you change it or clear the browser's storage.
Cloudflare and embedded services
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and may process network information during requests. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a separate cookieless performance beacon; it does not use cookies or localStorage for its measurements. Cookieless does not mean that no information is processed.
Our contact page currently uses email links rather than an embedded enquiry form. Clicking an email link opens your chosen email application. We will update this notice if we introduce an embedded service that changes the storage or tracking described here.
Managing analytics in your browser
The website does not provide an analytics preference control. You can block or clear analytics cookies using your browser settings, use privacy extensions, or install Google Analytics' browser opt-out add-on. These browser controls do not prevent access to the site's content.
We do not rely on a browser's “Do Not Track” signal as a website analytics preference. Browser restrictions or extensions may prevent analytics. Clearing cookies or localStorage does not delete information already received by Google.
Updates
We review this Cookie Policy when we change vendors, add new functionality, or update our analytics configuration. We will post the new effective date whenever the policy changes.
